British Airways Hand Baggage
All customers are permitted to carry one piece of hand luggage and one small item (handbag, laptop) on board. Hand luggage must not exceed56cm x 45cm x 25cmand the small item must be no bigger than40cm x 30cm x 15cm. Both items can weight up to23kgeach.
If your hand baggage exceeds the limit, it will be checked into the hold. This can be added to your checked baggage allowance. However, if it exceeds this, you will be charged the airport’s excess baggage fees.

Adding Extra Baggage To Hand Baggage Only Flights
If you are travelling with hand luggage only booking, you can add additional checked bags for a fee. These fees will depend on your route and are per one way journey. Each bag can not exceed23kgin weight.

The amount of checked baggage each customer is allowed depends on your booking; the route, fare and ticket type. Each piece of luggage must not be larger than90cm x 75cm x 43cmincluding any pieces of the luggage that stick out (handles, wheels etc). Each piece of luggage has a weight allowance of either23kgor32kgdepending on your route/ticket.

British Airways Extra Baggage
Each passenger can check-in up to 10 pieces of luggage per flight, including the allocated checked luggage allowance that comes with their flights. For example, if you get one piece of free checked luggage on your flight, you can add up to nine extra pieces.
Prices range from£36 to £120per piece of luggage when booked online and£40 to £140when booked at the airport. Overweight bags will face a fee of£65 per bag, unless over32kg.
