Istanbul Airport has installed 25 sleeping pods for passengers who want to rest before, after or between flights. The “iGA Sleepod'' service can be rented out on an hourly basis for the price of €6/hour between 7am and 7pm, and €9/hour between 7pm and 7am.

The sleep pods in the airport are placed in a calm and special zone on the International Departures Area so you can get some rest and privacy as well. The Istanbul Airport Sleeping pods prices: 15€ per hour between 07:00 and 18:59. 22€ per hour between 19:00 and 06:59.

Istanbul Airport has “Nap Zones” in the international terminal with semi-reclined seats. You'll find one of these nap zones near Gate D. If it's not too busy, then this is a great free option for a rest.

iGA Napzone

Complimentary Napzone areas are available throughout the terminal, offering passengers the opportunity to rest until their flights. Six rest areas are available, with a combined capacity to accommodate 278 individuals.

These sleep pods often have compartments for luggage, power sockets for charging electronic items, a lamp light for book-readers, and sometimes public WiFi for travelers to connect to the internet. Airport sleeping pods come in varied sizes.

Upon entering the lounge and veering left, a dedicated desk for private suites catches the eye. This is where eligible passengers, traveling in Turkish business class (including award ticket holders), can secure a complimentary bedroom for layovers falling between four and nine hours.

Economy Class passengers having a connection time of 12 hours or longer and Business Class passengers having a connection time of 9 hours or longer can benefit from hotel service free of charge in case a transit flight with a shorter connection time is not provided for the related travel.

Can I use the lounges for a fee? Passengers who do not have access to the domestic lounges through their ticket class or card type can purchase lounge use rights via online channels or our airport sales offices and enter the lounges two hours before their check-in.

Business Class passengers adn Economy Class passengers who are Miles&Smiles Elite/Miles&Smiles Elite Plus cardholders may benefit from these lounges free of charge. Economy Class passengers who are Corporate Club cardholders can only use the contracted lounges in the country indicated on the card.

Those pods are pretty well designed with a space for your hand luggage under the bed and a USB socket to charge your phone. And you won't be bothered by the aiport light with the retractable roof of the sleeping pod. This service costs 6 euros/hour between 7am and 7pm and 9 euros/hour between 7pm and 7am.

Don't Choose an Isolated Location

Instead, you're better off sleeping at your gate near other people. For a greater chance of uninterrupted sleep, check the departure board before nodding off to learn if there's an early flight leaving from your gate.

Cabins can be booked by the hour and offer a bed, TV, and desk, along with access to shared shower and bathroom facilities. Located opposite the entrance to the iGA Lounge, follow the signs for YOTELAIR and take the escalator one floor up to find the entrance to the Recharge Cabins.
